Meal Plans

Concordia University offers the Resident Students a choice of three meal plans. All students residing in campus housing must select a meal plan. Non-resident students may buy into a meal plan or select the Commuter meal plan. This may be done through the University Business Office.

 Plan Options - 2005/2006

19 Meal Plan (Any 19 meals per week + No Falcon Points)
15 Meal Plan (Any 15 meals per week + 200 Falcon Points)
10 Meal Plan (Any 10 meals per week + 400 Falcon Points)
10 Meal Commuter Plan (Any 10 meals per week + No Falcon Points)

The chosen meal plan is designated to each student and is not transferable to another person. Students are not allowed to use another students card. Students must carry and present their student ID each time they wish to use their meal plan or Falcon Points from their foodservice plan. A week of meals begins on Sunday brunch and ends on Saturday dinner. Meals not used in one week cannot be transferred for use in the following week. If a student fails to choose a meal plan he/she will be assigned the Meal Plan of 15.

A resident student may purchase additional meals or points through the business office. Students may use their declining balance to pay for their guest’s meals in any foodservice outlet.

Policies / Additional Info

 - Meal Plan Changes

Students may make meal plan changes without penalty during the first week of classes each semester by going to the business office (through dinner on Saturday). Changes requested after that date will result in a late processing fee of $25.00 for each change. Changes must be made to the University Cashier Office.

 - Meal Replacement

If you missed a meal in Siebert Dining Hall you may get a replacement meal in the BBC or the Falcon Nest. Each foodservice location has a meal replacement menu for you to choose from. No food is to be removed or brought into Siebert Dining Hall. You may purchase food for carry-out at the Falcon Nest or BBC.

 - Commuter Meal Service

A commuter student may purchase meals in any foodservice location using cash, Falcon Points or Commuter Meal Plan. Falcon Points can be purchased in any buy-in level desired based on need and planned usage frequency from the business office.

 - Faculty & Staff Meal Plans

Faculty & Staff may purchase a meal in one of the foodservice outlets using cash or Falcon Points. Falcon Points can be purchased in any buy-in level desired based on need and planned usage frequency from the business office.

 - Falcon Points

Falcon Points, the second part of your meal plan, are a way to add cash to your meal plan, and are exclusively for food purchases (including vending) on campus. Falcon Points can be used to buy additional meals in Siebert, to purchase food in the Falcon Nest or BBC, or buy groceries in the Nest Express. Falcon Points not spent by the last day of classes of the semester may not be refunded and turned in to the university. One Falcon Point = $1.00.
